In August 2018 DRACE GEOCISA was awarded the contract to provide technical support for the works director in the monitoring and control of the correct execution of the works in accordance with environmental terms and conditions established under the project, under the contractor's environmental-management plan (PGA) and under the applicable regulations, plus support for coordinating on-site health and safety, environmental management and compulsory-purchase processes and drafting any changes to the project.
The section covered by the project corresponds to the Cantabrian–Mediterranean HST Corridor, suitable for mixed passenger and goods traffic and interoperable with the European network, which will link the Mediterranean coast with the Atlantic coast in northern Spain.
